CandyShell
|
CandyShell is a VB program that I wrote to help me more easily manage LiteStep themes. The idea is that you can
configure it to be your shell, so that it always appears when you startup the machine. It allows you to select
a shell (or theme, as in the case of LiteStep) to use for that login session. You can add as many shells (themes)
as you'd like, and you can even have a screenshot of the theme in action so that it will be easier to remember what
they all are like. It automatically picks the last shell if you don't interact with it and starts up so that you
can get the machine up and running without having to be there. In the configuration screen you can force it to be
your shell, or (if you don't like it or need it anymore) you can restore your shell back to the Windows Explorer.
I don't have a downloadable version yet, since I haven't made an install for it. Also, I've probably got
to do a little testing with it on XP before releasing it. Finally, it's only meant for NT-based systems (NT, 2000, and XP).
