08-04-2001: Speedo Guages - Okay - here's the deal: These objects are the result of my first look at Yoran's fantastic DXToys plugin. There are some known leaks in the plugin as it exists now, but Yoran knows about them and should have them taken care of in a upcoming release. This all boils down to the fact that these should be considered "experimental" objects. Having said that, I haven't experienced any problems with them on Windows 2000, but your mileage may vary. If you like it on the bleeding edge, download and enjoy!

07-08-2001: Diablo II Zoomer - The Diablo II logo isn't mine - I got it from Blizzard's web site and integrated it into this DX object. It has an animated mouseover fade-in and a separate click state. Since I've been been spending hours a day in the game, I might as well have a cool way to start it up! Updated to include a "Bloodier" one that actually zooms. Pack now includes both objects.

06-28-2001: This one's fully animated! The hour markers alternate between hollow and filled every second, and the glass shutters that cover the face slide away to reveal it. Sound effects included.

06-28-2001: Another launcher in the SSilva series. This one is for your email client. Animated glass shutters and sound effects on mouseover.

 |
06-28-2001: This is just a fancy launcher to a dialup connection or anything else you need that's internet related. It's currently configured to run rasphone - change it to do whatever you want! To go along with the SSilva Clock...

06-17-2001: I decided to throw caution to the wind and pick new colors. So, instead of Blue and Grey, I went out on a limb and chose Yellow and Grey! Part of a set: WindowBlinds, NextStart, CoolPlayer, DX Clock, DX Trash, DX Meters.

06-15-2001: I always like to have quick access to my favorites, and DesktopX allows me to make shortcuts that are animated and look great. Here's a group of my favorites in the Windows XP motif. It's somewhat transparent to allow you to see the wallpaper through it, and makes use of mouseover animations. Credit where credit is due: I used the icons from the excellent WinXP set - a compendium put together by the talented citizens of WinCustomize.

06-15-2001: Yet another clock - my favorite type of DX object.
|
 |
06-15-2001: Thought I'd post the original version, which is absolutely huge! Then again, you can never have too much of a good thing :) The digital true type font is included in the zip.

Everything in here is .png with variable alpha values. All of the controls are
animated in this way for mouseovers and clicks - very interactive!

More fun with PhotoShop! I was trying to make this look somewhat
realistic - analog time, digital date, alpha blending with png. |

This is a clock object that's part of my PortHole theme. |
