Program Description

	QCD Player - My favorite media player, and the only one that I skin on a regular basis. It's got everything - freeform skinning, layers, extensions, tons of plugins, compatible with other players, etc. It's a blast to skin due to the fact that it's map/mask based - meaning that you spend your time in your graphics program instead of editing .ini text files and measuring coordinates. Additionally, the author is a great guy and actually takes enhancement requests! Oh yeah, it's also got a built-in skin manager that can even download new skins for you straight from the player. No need to visit skin sites. If you haven't tried it, do so now!
	CoolPlayer - Great little .mp3 player. Fully skinnable with separate main module and playlist. A joy to skin. A single .exe, instead of the typical huge install with a ton of .dlls. Lightweight, fast, what more can I say?
	WinAmp - The most popular .mp3 player out there. A million and one skins available for it, ranging from awe-inspiring to lousy (most of the "picture skins"). It's a pain to skin as everything seems to be off by a pixel here or there. The skinning system also has some bugs, which everyone has worked around.
	Sonique - My first favorite music player. Awesome graphics, too restrictive on the three modes though. Kind of a pain to skin.
	WinStep - Great popup menuing system to replace that horrible START menu. Extraordinarily configurable. Tons of great skins for it. Very versatle with hotspot support.
	DesktopX - A skinner's paradise. Configure your computer's interface (desktop) anyway you want. Graphical abilities are outstanding. A blast to play with!
	LiteStep - Shell replacement for explorer. Supposedly lighter, faster, and more stable than Win 9x (what isn't?). Like DesktopX but for programmers instead of graphical artists :)
	WindowBlinds - Skin Window's windows! This will change the look of your whole system. You can either whip up a fast skin with only the major components customized, or go all out and skin almost every control. Very popular.
